Today was amazing we did a mountain walk that was called Catbells and Kittenbells, which were two different sized mountains. When we climbed Catbells we had our heads in the clouds, not daydreaming we had our heads literally in the clouds. We could see lots of massive mountains surrounding us and the view was unimaginable and beautiful lots of different patches of plants and woods scattered and it was strange, yet a brilliant view. When Dan told us about mountains, valleys and the ice age we couldn’t believe it and we were fascinated to hear such unimaginable things. Climbing hundreds of metres high was such an achievement but on the way we had a few aching legs, slipping down and a few of climbing parts, which were the best parts, which I found really easy but enjoyable. We had our lunch at long last on the top of Catbells when we made our way down it was very slippy and down a massive slope. We learned about the plant called Foxglove and we found out how important they can be and also save death. It was a long trek down to Derwent Hill and saw amazing sculpture work on our way. I bought loads of Haribo's at the cafe and me and Keiran scoffed them all down! I loved today and I wish tommorow was now.

Today we went up a VERY, VERY big mountain called Catbells. First of all we walked up Kittenbells it was smaller than Catbells. So we started walking up Kittenbells we got to the top in about the space of an hour. The view was great! Nt as good as up Catbells but there was plenty to see like the lake and the islands. We stopped at the top of Kittenbells and had a snack.
